Middleton Grange
Middleton Grange is a Sydney suburb that is located 40 km west from the Sydney central business district. It is in the state of New South Wales and in the local goverment area of City of Liverpool and is a part of the Greater Western Sydney region.
History
Middleton Grange was discussed about in a lot of Council meeting by the Liverpool city council in the 1990s. The main thought was to get more houses and more land available to help meet the increasing demand for homes. So the council talked to land owers for many years to buy the land for development. This went on until 2005, then in 2005 the housing started. They started with all the problems of putting sewer system in which was done Sydney water and the issues of drainage. The council constructed 2330 lots with some lots for a neighborhood shopping centre and the two schools in the area. These schools are Middleton Grange Public school which opened in 2010 and Thomas Hassall Anglican Collage which opened in 2000 and they take enrolments from pre school to year 12. The land has now started to be built on and sold to customers.
Change
Things that have change is the building of more houses. The reason for this was to make more lots for house so that there is more places people can live and make their own. Another change is the building of the two schools providing a place for young families to be able to settle. The area has been built so that all facilities are available to the families in the area including shops, doctors, libaries and entertainment venues.
